During interviews you will often be asked to tell a story or share an experience about something that pertains to the topic at hand

  • They may ask you to tell them a story about a time when you had to:
  • Tell me about a time when you learned from a mistake.
  • Tell me about a time when you had to work with a difficult person.
  • Tell me about a time when you had to change course in an instant.
  • Tell me about a time when you worked on a team project
  • Tell me about a time when you stepped out of your comfort zone.
  • To make it easy you can think of stories that relate to:
  • A time when you’ve worked on project that you were a large part of or were the owner of
  • Project went bad
  • Project went good
  • A time when you had to work with a difficult person/boss/manager

Something to remember is that this is an opportunity to explain yourself further or emphasize things that you are working on. This Is where you can sell your qualities. Make sure you deliver your answers in a clear decisive way.
